We at Central Alberta Orthopedics recognize that long wait times to access specialist care can be frustrating. Orthopedic surgical services are capped by Alberta Health Services for certain diagnoses, including hip and knee arthritis.
Unfortunately, Central Alberta Orthopedics has no control over patient access to hospitals and for surgical care. We, as clinicians, are doing our best to see patients in a timely manner but are limited by the above restrictions which are out of our control.
To contact an individual surgeon, see below or go to the Our Team page. Our medical assistants are often busy with patients and are not always at their desks. If phoning, you may be directed to a "group" voicemail which is monitored by all medical office assistants. When speaking to us or leaving a message, please be respectful. Abusive language will not be tolerated.
It can be easier to reach our medical office assistants via e-mail. However, e-mail is not a secure form of communication therefore limit the amount of information provided and do not send any sensitive information. As well, any information provided by medical office assistants should not be considered medical advice.
