Concussion Clinic
The Concussion Clinic at Brent Sutter Sports Medicine Centre provides cutting edge care. We aim to provide fast intake (within a week), specialist assessments, and the highest standards of clinical effectiveness.
- All patients are assessed by a sports medicine physician or orthopedic surgeon with concussion training.
- Confirmed cases are further seen by a Certified Vestibular Therapist.
- All protocols, tests and therapies meet or exceed current standards. They will be custom designed to meet individual needs.
- We use a multidisciplinary team approach and focus on early, safe return to activity.
We also provide baseline concussion assessments as well as concussion education, including prevention strategies for teams and athletes.
• We encourage EARLY referrals and accept referrals from:
- Family doctors
- Physiotherapists, Exercise therapists, Kinesiologists
- Chiropractors, Naturopaths
- Team Coach, Trainers
- Self
